Divorce certificates
Certified copies of the divorce certificate can be obtained from the appropriate court. NOTE: Divorce was recognized in the Philippines between March 11, 1917 and August 29, 1950; since the latter date, courts have been empowered to grant legal separation (annulment) but not divorce.
